Have you ever wondered why a coast takes on a certain shape? … Have you ever been curious about the story of a landscape that you may have always observed?
These are the questions that spark my curiosity, but the answers are never that simple.
And so you leave and start exploring a territory that fascinates you to go crazy, observing the shapes of the landscape, the rocks, the flora and the fauna that make it unique.
In the photo the peninsula of Capo Caccia, the shield of Alghero from the strong Mistral storms which together with Punta Giglio, delimit the big bay of Porto Conte. The outermost cliff on the sea is the Punta Cristallo wall, 326 m of pure dolomitic limestone overlooking the sea and an integral reserve of the #Parco_di_Porto_Conte. In the foreground the rocky ridge that culminates with Punta Lu Caparoni (444 m), a strategic observation lookout and a precise spot to enjoy the incredible sunsets of the Sardinian West coast.
