About us

Blue water on which dizzying rocky cliffs emerge, covered by the lush green of the Mediterranean scrub. An image with strong contrasts of colors and shapes, of exciting beauty. This is the landscape that inspired us from the first time we set foot on this island.

THE IDEA OF SEA N ‘CLIFFS is to create unique and fun nature trails, for all people who want authentic adventures in connection with nature. At the end of the excursion, you will have a wealth of knowledge of the natural environment made up of unique endemic plants of these territories, fossils, footprints and traces of the past that have shaped this island.
Nature with its colors and shapes is our playground, we want you to experience it directly, exploring the wilderness of this island.

In each place, local reception facilities will be recommended, for the night but above all to eat according to local tradition.

Beatrice Romagnoli

MARINE BIOLOGIST, SKIPPER, PHOTOGRAPHER.

My passion for nature grown at an early age, when I leafed through the magazines of National Geographic and watched enchanted documentaries by David Attenborough, dreaming of becoming a naturalist.

I graduated first in Natural Sciences and then in Marine Biology at the University of Bologna.

During my years of study I approached the world of sailing and diving that offered me unforgettable experiences. As a student, between Ischia and Ventotene I observed the population of cetaceans aboard a 1930s ocean cutter. The desire to explore the sea led me to obtain the first underwater patent at Garda Lake…fresh, cold and murky waters that, however, have opened the doors of the Neptune kingdom. Indeed, my very first dives out of the lake took place in Linosa, perhaps the most remote and fascinating Italian island. A few years later I moved for the summer season to the wonderful island of Ustica, where I worked in a diving center and got the second level patent. A decade later, I returned to the waters of Linosa as a marine biologist aboard the oceanographic vessel Minerva Uno to explore its seafloor at hundreds of meters depth with the on board instrumentation.

So between one island and another, between small Mediterranean crossings and precarious employment contracts at universities, my desire to create an independent project grows.

Not only for its magnetic beauty, but for its geological history, its culture and its sea, Sardinia has attracted me. Since then I have been building a project of scientific popularization combined with the activity of hiking.

Giovanni Fantini

GEOLOGIST and HIKING GUIDE (AIGAE)

Since I was a child, the waves have guided my choices. The first summer jobs as rescue, waiter and sailor allowed me to scrape together a nest egg that gave me the opportunity to embark on my ocean voyages. Starting from the Atlantic coasts of France ,northern Spain and Portugal. The desire to look for better and better waves pushed me first to Africa, along the Moroccan coast then between the large volcanoes of the Indonesian islands and along the Pacific coasts of California and Mexico.

The adventure inherent in surfing and the connection with the environment that this lifestyle gives you, led me to develop a strong interest in nature, its processes and forms.

Thus, I started the university of geology in Bologna, thanks to which I was able to understand some of the laws that govern the nature of our planet. During my years of study I was lucky enough to share amazing exploratory adventures with amazing friends, with whom I was able to do highline and rock climbing.
After graduating, my search for a land and a job that fascinates me and in which I can express the knowledge acquired in past years began.
Sardinia and the work of Naturalistic Guide are the answer I was looking for.

I will be able to tell you the stories of the Sardinian territory in Italian, English, Spanish.

With this project we aim at a tourism different from the exclusively seaside one to which Sardinia is used. We believe that the Sardinian sea and land should be exploited to the fullest, with sensitivity and therefore in compliance with its natural laws and the people who live there.
We would like to do this through dynamic and sustainable tourism , especially in those inland countries, which, despite their great natural and cultural beauties, do not have enough influx of visitors to make tourism an integral part of their economy. In addition to the classic summer months, The mid-seasons (from April to June and from September to November) are ideal for hiking, cycling, climbing, surfing, paragliding, and many other activities, even at high levels , which this island allows you to do.
